After a year of interrupted teaching, learning loss and gaps, now more than ever, we need our students to be engaged in meaningful hands-on games and activities with manipulatives that intrigue and capture their attention. In this workshop you will learn how to use simple cards and dice, socially distancing the games to teach and rebuild the following concepts: subitizing, number sense , early operational fluency strategies including count on/back, doubles, make 10 and more. This basic games workshop will help you rebuild Kindergarten concepts that lay the foundation for success in primary operations and place value. Come prepared to play - gameboards provided.
