Come learn from a Math Content Teacher and a Special Education Teacher on how to prioritize the math practices so that students develop strategies to break down traditional barriers in order to show growth, demonstrate understanding, and tackle challenges. Participants will leave the session with tools to simplify planning including organization guides, basic routines, and ways to incorporate current classroom materials. These tools and strategies, inspired by the ROE 17 Math Curriculum Project, will guide a busy teacher in how to set up a universally designed math workshop system that fosters success, flexibility, and increases engagement for teachers and students.
